ABATEMENT
'Abatement' is a thriller surrounding a group of youths camping out in the middle of a forest carrying out some environmental monitoring work.
Events take a turn that will make you question everything you think you know about the individuals involved.

CAST
Michael McKell
​
Michael was born in London and in the 1980s he was a prolific singer and song-writer. However, in 1991 he was involved in a near-fatal car crash which proved to be the catalyst for a career change. He studied acting for three years at the Lee Strasberg Institute and began on stage, in classical roles, making his West End debut in the musical Blood Brothers. After years of television supporting roles as villains, in the mid-2000s he has been a leading player in a police series Murder Investigation Team and as one of the titular Doctors in the weekday afternoon soap. More recently Michael has starred in many film such as 'Allied', 'Absolution' and the highly successful 'Winter Ridge'
Andrew Reeves
​
Andrew James Reeves is a martial artist and actor from Yorksire, UK. He began martial arts at the age of seven attaining his black belt in Karate by 18. He also is a blue belt 4 stripe in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under professor Victor Estima and is a 10th Planet Blue Belt under Luke Randell. Andrew also has had 10 professional MMA fights. In late 2017 Andrew turned his sights to acting and since then has worked on 3 feature films. He is looking to expand on this and to also utilise his martial arts and apply this to film in the near future.

Sharni Tapako-Brown
​
Sharni is is a Dudley born physically and textually driven actress currently working nationally within the UK.
Sharni's film and TV credits include 'The Great Fire' (ITV/Jon Jones), 'Macbeth' (Screen Northants/BBC) alongside a string of local short and feature films.​
Equally at home on the stage Sharni has a string of credits such as 'Julius Caesar' (Stratford on Avon), 'A Christmas Carol' (Blue Orange Theatre), 'Wind In The Willows' (Looking Glass Theatre) to name but a few!​
Her talent doesn't stop there as Sharni is also a skilled dancer with 10 years advanced training in a multitude of styles. Sharni has a passion for writing and has been responsible for writing the screenplay for 'ABATEMENT'

Amelia Renard
​
Amelia was born in Nuneaton in the county of Warwickshire. She trained in BA Acting at The University of Northampton’s School of the Arts. Some of her theatre credits include: Janine in Simon Stephen's Bluebird, dir. Katie Lewis, Aemelius and the Nurse in Shakespeare's Titus Andronicus, dir. Tobias Deacon and Danni in Dennis Kelly's DNA, dir. Anthony Houghton. Abatement is Amelia's first film credit and she thoroughly enjoyed the whole process and is looking forward to any future film endeavours.
Charles O'Neil

Charles came to full time acting late in life after a strong interest in drama since childhood. In the last 6 years he has had appeared in over 45 screen roles. These have included independent feature and short films, corporate films and TV roles. He has also appeared in several TV commercials for the likes of Barclaycard and Vanquis. His many roles have included a wide range, as diverse as playing the Head of MI6 to a homeless man, to a local priest. In Abatement he plays DCI Blakewell, his first as a detective, and one which he relished as the character wrestled with complex issues.
Andre-Pierre

Andre-Pierre was born and raised in Birmingham, West Midlands and has been acting since he was 13 doing youth theatre and performing arts workshops at Crescent Theatre and Millennium Point. Wanting to take his craft more seriously he studied and trained at Birmingham Theatre School where his foundations of acting grew even further. Since then he has taken on a wide range of characters and been in various theatre, feature films, music videos and tv productions.
Andre will be seen next year in various feature films and playing Morad a supporting role in the L’INTERVENTION (The Intervention) formerly titled (15 Minutes Of War) directed by Fred Grivois releasing worldwide. Lennox in a modern retelling dystopian Macbeth directed by Daryl Chase, Tony in Angel City directed by Duaine Carma Roberts And Miles Brown in the superhero Tv Pilot "Lucid The Dreamwalker” directed by The Johnson Brothers
